About the Role

Colas Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team. As a Quarry Supervisor, you will be responsible for exercising close and effective supervisory control over all persons on site, ensuring safe and efficient conduct of all operations within the unit.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate site inspections, calibrations, and monitor work schedules for quarry, asphalt plant, and associated activities.
  • Monitor and analyze plant data and production statistics, producing reports in line with business objectives.
  • Support operations in line with company systems and procedures, ensuring maximum co-operation with weighbridge and sales staff.
  • Maintain the company reputation with reference to professional standards, operational efficiency, and social and environmental responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in the Institute of Quarrying.
  • Knowledge of the Quarrying Industry, including development, extraction, load and haul, crushing and screening, asphalt production, engineering maintenance, and waste management/recycling.
  • Underpinning knowledge of quality management systems to assist with compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
