Transforming Weather and Climate Research

The Met Office is seeking a skilled SScientific Software Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions for weather and climate research. As part of the Data Science Capability team, you will work on machine learning projects that deliver value in the National Capability domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with researchers and experts to understand requirements for platforms and tools.
  • Develop and apply good software engineering practices for ML projects.
  • Share knowledge and provide support through internal channels.
