Maintenance Specialist Vacancy

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Specialist to join our team at AWE Plc in the Reading area.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on a wide range of maintenance activities, efficiently and in a timely manner, on plant and equipment.

As a Multi-Disciplined Engineer, you will apply technical fault-finding skills within your discipline and gather plant data to analyse results using various techniques.

The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive training package, enabling them to perform modifications as directed by their Task Manager and endorse the quality of their work to ensure it meets the required standard.

The salary for this position is up to £40,000, based on your suitability and level of experience.

For this role, we require:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent working experience
  • C&G/ONC/HNC or above desirable
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, technologies, and techniques in your current trade
  • Conversant in fault-finding techniques and methodologies
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Understanding and implementation of work control documents
  • Working experience of operational plant maintenance service delivery desirable
  • Necessary security clearance for the role
