Job Description:

As an Education Coordinator - Sports Development, you will play a key role in promoting physical education as an essential component of overall student development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive physical education curricula that meet the needs of all students.
  • Educating students on the importance of physical fitness, health, and wellness, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Providing instruction in various sports and physical activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Coaching students in sports, helping them develop their skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and behaviour management strategies.
  • Organising and supervising extracurricular activities related to physical fitness and sports.
  • Maintaining an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and personal growth among students.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field, preferably with teaching or coaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students of varying abilities effectively.
  • Organisational skills to plan lessons, manage resources, and coordinate activities efficiently.
  • A commitment to promoting physical education as an essential component of overall student development.
