Job Summary:

We are seeking a Support Teacher for Children with Special Needs to join our team at SENDhelp Limited in Uxbridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with SLD and MLD.

About the Role:

The Support Teacher for Children with Special Needs will be responsible for leading small group activities and supporting learning plans under the direction of the teacher. They will also be required to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs, build strong relationships with pupils, and provide personal care and support as needed.

Requirements and Salary:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a HLTA qualification and at least 3 years of experience working in SEN settings. You must also have confidence and comfort in working with students with SLD, even if your prior experience has focused on MLD. A valid DBS registered on the Update Service is also mandatory. The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
