Travel Retail - Clinique - Counter Manager

Position Overview:

The Counter Manager oversees the complete operations of their designated terminal, ensuring the accomplishment of all retail objectives. This role involves identifying and implementing initiatives that drive retail performance and enhance the overall business potential of the terminal. The Counter Manager is responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of the Clinique consultant team, setting a standard through exemplary leadership to foster an effective and efficient business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Business Management: Ensure retail targets are consistently monitored and aligned with company standards, communicating these to the Clinique team regularly. Analyze business performance against targets, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate team members through effective coaching, setting clear objectives, and conducting regular performance reviews to achieve brand key performance indicators.
  • Stock Oversight: Monitor stock levels, particularly on key products, ensuring optimal inventory is maintained in accordance with sales trends.
  • Merchandising Standards: Maintain high standards of merchandising displays and counter hygiene, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Recruitment and Training: Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and support during their initial period.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess previous retail management experience, with the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends. A valid passport is required, along with a satisfactory security clearance from relevant authorities.
