We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Childcare Services Coordinator to join our team at Polaris Community. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to young people in achieving their educational goals and independent living, while also maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in the young person's home.

The successful candidate will have experience working with attachment and trauma, challenging behavior, and mental health issues, and be committed to understanding the issues facing young people in care. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the young person's home
  • Supporting young people in Education, Employment, and Training by evidencing work completed and submitting it to instructors
  • Maintaining community links, such as educational provisions, sports centers, and youth clubs

We offer a competitive salary of up to £26,582.40 per year, plus benefits including pension scheme, employee discount scheme, 28 days' Annual Leave (including bank holidays), and covered travel costs above £5.
