The Group Reward Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering QinetiQ's global reward strategy, driving business performance and realizing the company's 5-year vision.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this leader will oversee the Reward function globally, with a focus on the UK PLC and its Remuneration Committee's corporate governance requirements.

Key responsibilities include designing and assuring robust governance of all reward-related activities, bringing global PLC market practice insights, and ensuring Group reward practices are efficient, cost-effective, and relevant across the whole Group.

Through collaboration with the Group CPO, Global People Leadership team, and other stakeholders, this individual will be responsible for bringing a performance-driven, enterprise-wide strategic and structured approach to Total Rewards, ensuring the effective attraction and retention of top talent globally.

We seek a highly motivated Group Reward Director who is collaborative, performance-driven, with a global mindset, and strong enterprise leadership, able to leverage their expertise to develop the vision and implementation of our Reward strategy, while maintaining strong corporate and market compliance.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Be a Reward subject matter expert, with proven experience in executive remuneration at Director level for a large international PLC or equivalent, with a deep understanding of reward strategies and the ability to think strategically.
  • Show business and commercial acumen, understanding overall business goals.
  • Have a proven track record of data insights, scenario modelling, and ROI generation for proposed strategies.
  • Have a demonstrable attention to detail/focus for accuracy, while working at pace, managing change, and managing a complex stakeholder group.
  • Be a natural leader and strong team player, with the ability to work effectively to create a Global Reward Centre of Excellence in a global environment.
  • Be a strong communicator with a credible and mature style, and an ability to engage audiences and challenge stakeholders when needed.
  • Have had experience of working in at least two of these markets: UK, US, and Australia.
