Pulsar Measurement, Ltd. is a leading provider of ultrasonic instrumentation for various markets. We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote technical support to our customers via telephone, email, and other platforms. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with our products, as well as providing training and guidance to customers as needed.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Providing remote technical support to customers via telephone, email, and other platforms
  • Carrying out on-site services (commissioning/service/health check/breakdown/training) of Pulsar Measurement products installed at customer locations
  • Identifying opportunities for repeat site service business at customer locations
  • Identifying and feedback any trends with the use or behavior of Pulsar equipment through site services or remote technical support
  • Resolving technical customer queries liaising with Sales/Quality/R&D/Product Management teams as necessary
  • Assisting with testing new product developments as required
  • Assisting with processing equipment returned for repair as required
  • Feedback any updates in H&S practices required for site activities in target industries
  • Providing VOC feedback to Product Management/Quality/Engineering teams for product enhancement or NPI purposes

The ideal candidate will have a technical electrical/electronic engineering background, with a sound, logical approach to learning and problem solving. They should also have good understanding of industrial measurement equipment and measurement techniques, as well as experience servicing/repairing electrical equipment. Additionally, they should be able to safely work alone and with others as part of a team, and have a confident and calm telephone manner.
