Pulsar Measurement, a leading global provider of ultrasonic instrumentation solutions, is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join its team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing high-level technical support to customers worldwide, ensuring seamless remote services and on-site solutions for Pulsar products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional remote technical assistance via multiple platforms, including telephone, email, Teamviewer, and MS Teams.
  • Carry out on-site services, such as commissioning, servicing, health checks, breakdowns, and training, at customer locations.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat site service business and provide valuable insights into customer needs.
  • Resolve technical queries, collaborating with Sales, Quality, R&D, and Product Management teams as required.
  • Contribute to testing new product developments and assist with processing returned equipment for repair.
  • Provide feedback on H&S practices and contribute to product enhancement or NPI purposes.
Travel and Salary

Estimated travel time: up to 80% of working hours. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Technical electrical/electronic engineering background; formal qualification preferred.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and logical approach to learning.
  • Familiarity with industrial measurement equipment and techniques.
  • Experience in servicing/repairing electrical equipment.
  • Good understanding of on-site health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Full Driving Licence and excellent time management skills.
