Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective development of our integrated quality management system. Your primary responsibility will be to review, develop, and introduce key QA processes within the business, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and driving best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a wide range of recognised quality tools and techniques to foster a quality culture within the organisation.
  2. Collaborate closely with operations, technical, and customer service teams to drive a proactive quality culture, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard at every stage of the process.
  3. Carry out root cause analysis of issues, implementing robust actions to prevent reoccurrence, and ensuring horizontal deployment where appropriate.
  4. Represent the quality function in cross-functional teams, ensuring objectives and milestones are delivered relating to process and NPD development.
  5. Lead and mentor operations teams in the successful resolution of customer complaints and line issues.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in a similar manufacturing biased role, with a strong understanding of ISO quality standards.
  2. Degree educated in a relevant field or relevant experience with equivalent qualifications.
  3. Fully conversant with TQM, FMEA, SPC, and problem-solving techniques A3, 8D, 4D, 3C.
  4. Lean six sigma tools and techniques, including the DMAIC process.
