About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Laboratory Coordinator to join our team at Energizer Holdings, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to all relevant parties, preparing samples for analytical testing, and monitoring and maintaining quality throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide good technical support to all relevant parties
  • Prepare samples for analytical testing on incoming materials and processed materials made on site
  • Monitor, maintain and improve quality throughout the organization
  • Make a relevant contribution to the quality assurance process within the organization
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance to International standards
  • Ensure the calibration process is monitored and under control
  • Use test equipment such as tensile testers, hardness testers, and UV-Vis Spectroscopy equipment
  • Analysis of test data to identify trends and areas for process improvement
  • Maintain a well-stocked inventory of laboratory consumables and maintain lab and equipment cleanliness
  • Work unsupervised in a laboratory environment as well as part of a team during investigatory and development projects
  • Review process control and capability within Chemical Processing/manufacturing areas
  • Work alongside the Quality Engineers in supporting the Business requirements
  • Work alongside the HSE officer to maintain COSHH database and control the movement of hazardous materials and wastes on site
  • Implementation of corrective and preventative actions as required throughout the plant

Requirements

  • Existing laboratory experience
  • Clear, precise, and articulate communication skills
  • Computer literacy and good clear presentation skills
  • A good team player but comfortable working alone
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges
  • Ability to manage time and workload efficiently
  • Ability to record, organize, and manage all data generated in a structured and easily referenced format
  • Effective and confident interpersonal and communication skills
