Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at Bupa Clinics.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing expert health advice and guidance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering health assessments to customers, maintaining accurate client records, and promoting healthy lifestyles in line with Bupa's clinical policies.

You will also be required to carry out various clinical tests, including body composition analysis, spirometry, and blood pressure measurement.

A key aspect of this role is creating individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver health assessments to customers, providing expert health advice and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate client records, ensuring all necessary information is recorded and stored securely.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles in line with Bupa's clinical policies, encouraging customers to make positive changes.
  • Carry out various clinical tests, including body composition analysis, spirometry, and blood pressure measurement.
  • Create individual lifestyle action plans, using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology/sports science/nutrition.
  • Customer-facing experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience of performing measurements or assessments in a health and fitness or medical environment (desirable).
  • Accuracy in information recording and working within clinical guidelines.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, tailoring your approach to individuals.
  • Empathy and ability to motivate customers to make positive health changes.
