We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at MHR Consultancy Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing payroll, statutory accounting, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll, including collating timesheets, inputting data, and managing pension schemes.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve any issues with clients.
- Manage customer invoices, credit control, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with SMP/SSP rules and Auto-Enrolment/Workplace Pensions regulations.
- Utilize IRIS Payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
- Proven experience in payroll administration, including SMP/SSP rules and Auto-Enrolment/Workplace Pensions.
- Confident in using IRIS Payroll systems and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in book-keeping, supplier/customer invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients.
- Driving licence and access to a car essential.
- Competitive salary of £22k per annum FTE, rising to £24k per annum FTE after three months' probation.
- 25 days' holiday pay per annum plus bank holidays, pro-rated for the number of hours/days worked.
- DBS check (MHR cost) will be performed upon appointment.
