Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at MHR Consultancy Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing payroll, statutory accounting, and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll, including collating timesheets, inputting data, and managing pension schemes.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve any issues with clients.
  • Manage customer invoices, credit control, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with SMP/SSP rules and Auto-Enrolment/Workplace Pensions regulations.
  • Utilize IRIS Payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, including SMP/SSP rules and Auto-Enrolment/Workplace Pensions.
  • Confident in using IRIS Payroll systems and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in book-keeping, supplier/customer invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Driving licence and access to a car essential.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £22k per annum FTE, rising to £24k per annum FTE after three months' probation.
  • 25 days' holiday pay per annum plus bank holidays, pro-rated for the number of hours/days worked.
  • DBS check (MHR cost) will be performed upon appointment.
