PerkinElmer is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientific Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Scientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory equipment by providing expert technical support and guidance to our customers.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of technical engineers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of equipment maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Technical, or Science with 5+ years of experience servicing laboratory equipment OR
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Technical, or Science with 3+ years of experience servicing laboratory equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in a technical support team, preferably in a Pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range:$90,000 - $140,000 per year. This compensation range may vary based on factors such as internal equity, work location, and individual qualifications.
