**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Transport Coordinator at VKL Healthcare Ltd.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the transfer of mental health patients and dispatching crews and ambulances.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Act as liaison between ambulance crews, operational staff, and healthcare professionals
  • Support the transfer of mental health patients
  • Dispatch crews and ambulances as needed

**Requirements**

  • Good telephone manner
  • IT literacy (MS Office, Google Docs etc)
  • Customer service focused and able to effectively handle sensitive information
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a small team

**Shifts and On-Call Responsibilities**

We require the following shifts to be covered:

  • Monday and Wednesday early mornings to mid-afternoon
  • Thursday and Friday afternoon to late evenings

On-call responsibilities will be assigned when the postholder meets full competencies.

**Training and Development**

We provide full comprehensive training to the post-holder to the standard of an ambulance care assistant.
