Salary:

The salary for this role is competitive and reflects the level of expertise and responsibility required. We offer an annual salary of £31,023, along with a £2,000 welcome bonus to new employees.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third In Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons Milton Road. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of childcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth
  • Ensure commercial success of the nursery by maintaining expenditure within budget and FTEs

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Early Years Educator
  • Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
