Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third In Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons Milton Road. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of childcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and education to children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child
- Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth
- Ensure commercial success of the nursery by maintaining expenditure within budget and FTEs
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Early Years Educator
- Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
