Job Title: Home Care Assistant

At Home Instead, we're looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. As a Home Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing support and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer warmth and care during visits, enhancing the home atmosphere by aiding in light household chores and meal preparations.
  • Help clients cherish their time with you, sharing in activities such as reading or watching favourite TV shows.
  • Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
  • Taking clients out to places of their choice, e.g. the local shops.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
Requirements:
  • No experience required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
  • You must have a full driver's licence and dependable transportation for various duties.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
  • Must have a caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
