About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Leek & Moorlands. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warmth and care during visits, enhancing the home atmosphere by aiding in light household chores and meal preparations.
  • Support clients with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
  • Accompany clients on outings to places of their choice, such as local shops.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
Requirements
  • No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training.
  • A full driver's license and dependable transportation are essential for various duties.
  • Reliability and punctuality are crucial to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
  • A caring and friendly disposition is necessary to create lasting relationships.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.50-£13.50, doubled on bank holidays, plus 30p per mile.
