We are seeking an experienced and passionate SENCo to join our team at a highly regarded Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham. As a key member of the school's leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision across the school.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality SEN support and have a deep understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Our ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as Education or Special Educational Needs, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. A valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, generous annual leave allowance, and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective SEN policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage the SEN department, ensuring high-quality provision for all students.
