The Job

You will play a crucial role as a Mechanical Engineer on the Hinkley Point C project, fully embedded into the client function. You will report to the Engineering Lead and be responsible for ensuring that mechanical equipment meet stringent safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Challenge and align design decisions with project strategies.
  • Assess and address technical risks within the mechanical scope.
  • Report operationally to an Engineering Lead.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in HVAC design, installation, and/or commissioning.
  • Strong understanding of construction and installation industry standards (BS, EN, ASME).
  • Understanding of welding techniques would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Experience in a site-based engineering role.
