Job Description

The Job Mission

You will play a crucial role as a Mechanical Engineer on the Hinkley Point C project, fully embedded into the client function. You will be reporting to the Engineering Lead, and your expertise will ensure that the mechanical equipment meets stringent safety and regulatory standards, while interfacing with various stakeholders to resolve complex design challenges. This is a hybrid role, with three days based in the office and two days working from home.

  • Challenge and align design decisions with project strategies.
  • Assess and address technical risks within the mechanical scope.
  • Report operationally to an Engineering Lead.
My Profile

Essential Skills

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in HVAC design, installation, and/or commissioning.

Strong understanding of construction and installation industry standards (BS, EN, ASME).

Understanding of welding techniques would be an advantage, but not essential.

Experience in a site-based engineering role.
