As a Community Medicine Specialist at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and communities.

Job Summary

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support the provision of excellent services. You will be based on 2 non-acute Geriatrics wards at Newark Hospital, where you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services to inpatients.

About the Role

The post-holder will be required to undertake ward work, conduct out-patient clinics, and establish liaison with users of the service, including local General Practitioners and other external agencies. You will also be expected to participate in educational opportunities, such as weekly medical Grand Rounds and specialist clinics, and contribute to audit and QIP projects.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £83,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, with a 7-week rolling rota that includes daytime and out-of-hours working.
