We are seeking a veterinary surgeon to join our well-established small animal general practice in Newark. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing quality care to their patients and be warm and empathetic towards our clients in times of need.

This is a part-time role working up to 24 hours per week, covering sole charge at times. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00, and Saturday, 08:30 – 12:30. No out-of-hours or on-call work is required, as this is covered by Vets Now.

The role offers a mix of consultations and surgery, with a varied and interesting caseload. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, which is why we support them with our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours; this truly offers the opportunity for a good work-life balance.

Companion Vets is a small animal first opinion practice based in Balderton, close to Newark town centre. The practice is well-equipped with in-house lab facilities, ultrasound, diagnostics, and digital X-ray. We encourage professional development and are happy to consider supporting any professional interests or certificate goals.
