About the Role

Hartnell Taylor Cook is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our Property and Asset Management team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple commercial properties, working closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance and service charge budgets for multiple properties, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Review and enforce tenant lease covenant compliance, ensuring that all properties are managed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with other departments, including facilities managers, property administrators, and the property management accounts team, to ensure seamless delivery of services to our clients.
  • Develop and implement effective property management strategies, taking into account the needs of our clients and the properties under our care.
  • Collaborate with our surveying colleagues, including a Partner in the London Office, to ensure that all properties are managed in accordance with our company's high standards.
Requirements
  • MRICS qualified Property Management Surveyor/Senior Surveyor with a proven track record in commercial property management.
  • Strong knowledge of Landlord & Tenant law, including the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954.
  • Experience in managing single let and multi-let office buildings, with a strong understanding of budget setting, cost control, and service charge recovery/administration.
  • Knowledge of building construction, M&E installations, and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
