Children's Home Manager Assistant

About the Job:We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Support Practitioner in a supportive and inclusive environment.
As a Therapeutic Support Practitioner, you will work closely with the children and young people, providing nurturing care and support, implementing their individual care plans, and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent, as well as experience in a children's home setting or working with young people who have learning disabilities and additional needs.
- Provide nurturing care and support for children and young people, implementing their individual care plans.
- Take the children on activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Liaise with families and professionals to ensure the best possible care is being provided and carried out.
- Take a proactive approach in supporting the children with attending and engaging in their education.
- Maintain accurate records of the child's day, including any incidents that may occur.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and completing health and safety checks.
- Apply safeguarding knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the home.
- A competitive salary ranging from £23,000 - £26,000 per year, dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Additional payments for sleep-in shifts of £65.00 per sleep-in shift.
- A non-contractual bonus scheme of up to £850.00 per year, based on individual performance indicators and the performance of the home and the outcomes of the children.
- Enrolment onto the fully funded QCF level 3 & 4 in children and young people's residential home's qualification.
- A condensed rota pattern, consisting of 3 days on and 3 days off.
- Robust and comprehensive paid induction, and continued training and development within each role.
