Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Theatre Practitioner

**Salary Range:** £38,890 - £44,414 per annum (inclusive of 9% enhancement)

**Location:** Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Bristol BS2 8HW

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in surgical scrub and/or anaesthetics, with proven leadership and management skills. They will be responsible for leading and supporting the multidisciplinary team within theatre, promoting high-quality efficient perioperative patient care.

Responsibilities
  • To lead and support the multidisciplinary team within theatre, promoting high-quality efficient perioperative patient care
  • To provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior members of staff
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within theatre
  • To participate in research and audit projects, and to disseminate findings to the wider healthcare community
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Appropriate post-registration experience in Theatre practice
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Qualification in Teaching, Assessing, and Mentoring
  • Current HCPC/NMC registration qualification
