Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Highly Specialist Perioperative Governance Coordinator within our organisation. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care in the perioperative setting, including admissions, endoscopy, and recovery.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting a ward/department environment that fosters learning, growth, and development among staff. You will also play a critical role in mentoring new staff members and participating in the supervision/teaching of junior colleagues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities as needed. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £42,828 - £51,041 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career progression.

Your Responsibilities
  • To assume responsibility for undertaking tasks delegated by the Clinical Theatre Manager, including mentoring roles, auditing, and clinical governance.
  • To promote a ward/department environment conducive to learning, supporting, and participating in the supervision/teaching of junior staff.
  • To organise and prioritise care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care in all areas of the perioperative setting.
