About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Clinical Trainee in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The successful candidate will work within the North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) in Kent and Medway, providing services for children and young people's Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions based on NICE Guideline recommended treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide an inclusive and effective service for children and young people.
  • Participate in the CYP Psychological Training Programme core principles: Accessibility, accountability, participation, awareness, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum second-class bachelors degree from a UK University, or overseas equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years working within a mental health setting, ideally with children and young people, and their family/carers.
  • Experience of multi-agency working and safeguarding procedures.

Training and Development

The successful candidate will be expected to travel to Denmark Hill Campus of Kings College London for teaching during the training year. More information about the course content and different modalities can be found on the Kings CYP webpage.
