About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee CBT Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people, making a direct impact in their lives and supporting their mental health.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working within the North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) in Kent and Medway. They will be part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, working across various localities to provide services for children and young people's Mental Health.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum second-class bachelor's degree from a UK University or overseas equivalent. You must also have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a mental health setting, ideally with children and young people, and their family/carers. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills, time management, and record-keeping abilities.

Training and Development

The successful candidate will be part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes. They will receive comprehensive training and support to develop their skills and knowledge in CBT therapy. They will also have the opportunity to work with experienced clinicians and contribute to the development of the service.
