About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Vale of Glamorgan. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional and practical support to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, understanding their individual needs and circumstances.
  • Work collaboratively with the young person's keyworker to provide support and advice in line with their support plan.
  • Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to motivate and empower young people to gain independence and reach their full potential.
  • Engage in crisis response and remain calm and collected in challenging situations.
