Rutland council is seeking a qualified Social Services Professional to join their Child Protection and Permanency team. This role is ideal for a social worker looking for a new challenge within a stable local authority. Rutland is a small local authority with a supportive management structure, small manageable caseloads, and a great work-life balance, alongside their GOOD Ofsted rating.

The successful candidate will carry a caseload consisting of CiC, CP, and CiN cases, preparing assessments, Cin reviews, and plans, as well as CP and CLA plans. They will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records of files and participate in team meetings and development.

The role offers a salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000, plus a £3,000 market supplement, maximum caseload size of 14 children, flexible working arrangements, and clear career pathways and CPD opportunities.
