Senior Aerospace Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and support the development of future aircraft systems.
As a Senior Aerospace Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mission enablement systems for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS). You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering and demonstrable post-graduate experience in an engineering or technology role. You should also have strong system modelling and analysis skills, with experience using toolsets such as MATLAB, Simulink, Cameo, IBM DOORS and PLM Teamcenter.
Awareness of Model Based Systems Engineering approaches is also desirable, as is the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
