We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Developer to join our team in Farnborough. As an Aerospace Engineering Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of general Systems Engineering to maximise the strategic capabilities of our client's product.

Your key responsibilities will include managing and communicating the System roadmap with the wider Engineering community, including System Architects. You will also be responsible for managing new and existing suppliers/stakeholders, making decisions with a balanced view of all stakeholder requirements, and managing technical risk within projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and understanding of technologies relevant to the design and operation of UAVs, including secure communications and network architectures. They will also be able to rapidly perform system level trade-offs and assess sub-system options in terms of system performance, capability, reliability, and implementation within the project schedule.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of technologies relevant to the design and operation of UAVs, including secure communications and network architectures;
  • Ability to rapidly perform system level trade-offs and assess sub-system options in terms of system performance, capability, reliability, and implementation within the project schedule;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering techniques and methodologies;
  • Knowledge of electronic/software/embedded system design, delivery process and acceptance test and qualification criteria;
  • Has a track record of UAS engineering and development would be highly desirable.

Estimated salary: £45 per hour. We offer a competitive salary package and benefits.
