Aerospace Systems Engineer

A Systems Engineer with a strong Aerospace background is required to join our client in Farnborough on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of general Systems Engineering to maximise the strategic capabilities of the client's product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and effectively communicate the System roadmap
- Manage new and existing suppliers/stakeholders
- Make decisions with a balanced view of all stakeholder requirements
- Manage technical risk within projects
- Define appropriate implementation and proportionate application of the project product assurance plan
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of technologies relevant to UAV design and operation
- Ability to rapidly perform system level trade-offs
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering techniques and methodologies
- Working knowledge of secure network architecture and RF datalinks
- Experience of establishing and working within formal organisational approval schemes
Salary: Up to £45 per hour
This role will involve some travel for business, and as such you must be flexible to travel accordingly.
