Charge Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team at Pennine Care NHS FT. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in providing leadership and management to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve service objectives.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk management plans to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process to ensure the appointment of suitable candidates.
- Contribute to the development of the service by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Substantial post-registered experience in a mental health setting, preferably in CAMHS.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team and managing resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of current initiatives and best practices in CAMHS, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
