Advanced Practitioner Director

The estimated salary for this role is around £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. About the Role:
The Advanced Practitioner Director will work autonomously in the Acute Services within the Medical Ambulatory Care Unit, during the in and out of hours period, covering seven days including public holidays. This is an excellent opportunity for a trainee/advanced practitioner to be part of a progressive, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT)/medical staff including the OOH Hub and Acute Services.
* Communicate on a daily basis about any patient they have seen overnight/at weekend and who needs to be followed up by the GP/Acute Services during normal working hours.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and advance practice within the speciality/area of practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse/AHP/Pharmacist with valid NMC/HCPC/GPHC Registration.
* Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced clinical practice and expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively, and efficiently.
* Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification.
