About the Vale of Glamorgan Council

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Lifecycle Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR Lifecycle function, you will play a vital role in leading the Lifecycle Team and their journey from candidate to employee.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the delivery of high-quality HR transactional support services relating to the employment lifecycle. You will ensure an excellent candidate experience through a positive employer brand and effective process.

Your Impact

Your impact will be felt through a reduced time to hire, improved candidate satisfaction scores, and positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders. You will support the HR Lifecycle Manager in reviewing current processes and investigating new ways of working through attendance at networking events and external learning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant higher-level qualification or relevant experience within a corporate environment.
  • A positive, optimistic, and proactive approach to work, with a focus on delivering change within an organisation.
  • Experience of working with an ATS system would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working in local government is desirable but not essential.
