Job Overview

Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Operations Coordinator to support the administration and coordination of projects, systems, and departmental activities within the Electrical Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Planning: Develop, coordinate, and maintain resource plans for equipment, including HIL test rigs.
  • Schedule Administration: Administer schedule plans for work by the Electrical manufacturing teams.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain, administer, and police systems of work for critical documentation, including Software Releases.
  • Test Equipment Planning: Maintain plans and schedules for the development of test equipment and support tools.
  • Software Release Management: Ensure that software release process documentation is delivered and up to date.
  • Customer Order Management: Manage customer orders for electrical/electronic components.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate issues, process deviations, and resource constraints, ensuring they are tracked and communicated within the team.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure confidentiality is maintained for all aspects of this role.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience of working in a programme delivery environment.
  • Timing and Cost Planning: Maintenance of timing and cost plans is essential.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercial awareness is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Office and preferably Project is essential.
