In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive psychological support and care to individuals facing complex and enduring mental health challenges within our community and secondary care settings.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing robust care pathways for our clients, ensuring they receive the most effective and tailored treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies to a diverse caseload of individuals presenting with intricate mental health needs.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to contribute to comprehensive client care plans.
- Provide expert psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to colleagues involved in the formulation, diagnosis, and treatment of clients.
- Actively participate in case discussions, sharing your insights and expertise to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapeutic interventions and best practices within our service.
- Post-graduate qualification in psychology or a psychological therapy (clinical or counselling psychology, psychotherapy) accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Demonstrable experience of conducting specialist psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based therapies to clients with complex and enduring mental health problems within community and secondary care settings.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, including experience collaborating with interpreters.
