About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing team at CV-Library Ltd as an Event Coordinator. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to help us deliver our event program in line with our Marketing KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Events Coordinator in planning and executing a comprehensive events calendar across the UK and USA
  2. Provide on-site support at industry events and expos in the UK, including setup, breakdown and acting as the main point of contact for the on-site team
  3. Manage event timelines and priorities, including tasks such as attendee registration, documentation completion and booking hotels and travel
  4. Gather and analyze post event feedback to track ROI and recommend improvements
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and meet deadlines specified in exhibitor manuals
  6. Work with the wider marketing team to create event collateral and social media content
  7. Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  8. Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and agreements
  9. Lead the planning and execution of internal events to enhance team culture and support fundraising efforts for our charity partner
  10. Stay current with industry trends and maintain a network of contacts
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, with a focus on budget management, stakeholder engagement and logistics planning
  • Demonstrated expertise in B2B exhibitions and event planning
  • Proven ability to effectively manage changes in event logistics and timelines and manage multiple events and projects simultaneously to ensure a smooth execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the events industry, including all aspects of marketing, social media, public relations and design, with the ability to integrate these elements into event planning and delivery
  • Creative thinker with a track record of generating innovative ideas, including the use of emerging technologies in event management
  • Self-starter who excels both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively over the phone
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Flexibility to travel and work away from home or outside standard office hours during events
