About the Role
We are seeking a Resident Engagement Specialist to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of activities, including musical performances, exercise classes, and arts and crafts, tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Manage the activity budget and plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of activities, events, and performances.
- Support residents in participating in activities, promoting independence, and encouraging social interaction.
- Organize birthday surprises and special events for our residents.
- Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the care home.
- Assist with meal duties when necessary and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and external partners to promote community engagement and social connections.
- Update activity plans, care records, and manage emails effectively.
- Contribute to the care home's social media presence as required.
