Class 1 Truck Driver Career Opportunity
Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class 1 truck driver to join our team. With at least 9 months of driving experience and manual transmission skills, you can excel in this role.
This position offers flexible work schedules, including local and cross-border routes. You will operate a dedicated truck with manual transmission and be responsible for daily hours between 8-14 per day, with flexibility to work 5 days a week.
The estimated hourly pay rate for this position is $32.00, which includes a daily minimum. In addition to competitive compensation, you will enjoy weekly pay via direct deposit, as well as access to health, vision, dental, invalidity, and life insurance after 30 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete documentation related to driving and delivery duties
- Oversight of vehicle condition
- Unload freight using material handling equipment when necessary
Requirements:
- H.S. diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two years' experience in commercial driving required
- No more than one moving violation or accident required
- Valid Driver's License (AZ/Class 1) with air brake endorsement required
