Job Overview

Kinect Services Ltd is seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a part-time driver. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and secure transportation for children and adults with special needs (SEN) or other vulnerabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a valid UK driving license, be available for both morning and afternoon school runs on all school days, and possess excellent communication skills. We value flexibility, safety, and a positive attitude, and we aim to create a supportive and professional environment for both our passengers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers or parents, and staff at the destinations.
  • Ensure the vehicle is always roadworthy, clean, and tidy.
  • Be available for both morning and afternoon school runs on all school days.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK driving license.
  • Drive a range of company vehicles, including cars, 8-seat minibuses, and larger wheelchair-accessible vehicles (all of which can be driven with a standard car license).
  • Pass an enhanced criminal record (DBS) check, as this role involves working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
  • Meet Group 2 medical standards to comply with licensing requirements.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
