About the Role">

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for children with diabetes. The successful candidate will manage a designated clinical caseload, use clinical judgment and autonomous decision making about specialist nursing care and management of children and young people with diabetes.

Key responsibilities include participating in regular reviews of the multidisciplinary team, examining structure and processes against Best Practice Tariff and National Paediatric Diabetes Audit criteria. The role also entails working cross-site within East Kent and participation in Out of Hours telephone on-call service for children, young people and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to develop further within the specialty and contribute to improving outcomes for children with diabetes. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
