Oral Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oral Health Specialist to join our dental team at The Dental Centre Tenterden. This part-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental practice, with a strong focus on infection prevention and control.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. Key duties include performing dental cleanings and assessments, conducting medical imaging as needed, and maintaining strict infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
- Experience in pediatrics is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent documentation review skills and attention to detail in patient records.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while effectively communicating oral health information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices is essential.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including employee discounts.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, requiring 14 hours of work per week. The schedule includes an 8-hour shift during the day, Monday to Friday.
