Role Overview

We are seeking a Community Mental Health Specialist to join our dedicated Community Mental Health teams in Orpington and Beckenham, London Borough of Bromley. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a highly skilled and experienced practitioner to support both community and in-patient services.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing complex situations and providing guidance in a multidisciplinary setting. They must hold a DipSW, CQSW, or a degree in Social Work and be a qualified AMHP and Practice Educator. Registration with Social Work England is mandatory.

As a key member of our team, you will undertake statutory responsibilities including Care Act duties and safeguarding for both adults and children. You will also provide professional leadership for AMHP practice within the team and participate in a duty rota.

The salary for this role is up to £50,063 + AMHP uplifts & £2000 annual retention payment, a £2000 Golden Hello, which reflects the importance of this role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex care needs.
