As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Delivery: Ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time, and cost parameters to meet the needs of the project.
  • Work Scope Definition: Define the work scope to be delivered within the contract or package of work and the interfaces to the other elements of the programme.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders and executing the project or PEP strategies within their contract or package of work.
  • Resource Management: Assist in securing the required resources to meet their project requirements, ensuring the maintenance of SQEP for any assigned resource and promptly identifying any personnel shortfalls or issues within their project team.
  • Project Management Tools and Techniques: Develop, manage, and update project and programme plans, including full costing, development of WBSs, resource management, cost management of risk, and critical path review, using appropriate software and tools.
  • Change Control: Manage the change control as the project/programme scope changes, using the correct processes and updating the necessary configuration documentation.
  • Project Baseline Control: Understand the need for project baseline control and different types of baseline change.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM): Apply the principles of Earned Value Management (EVM).
Requirements
  • Project Management Tools and Techniques: Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), cost software (e.g., SAP), and risk software (e.g., ARM, EcoSys, @risk, Safran).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
