Dedicated Learning Support Assistant

At Clarus Education Ltd, we are committed to providing an inclusive and aspirational learning environment for all pupils. We are seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a temporary contract.
About the Role
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have experience in de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support. You will be working with pupils aged 4-11 who require additional support due to Autism and speech and language needs.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in creating individualised learning plans for pupils with SEN
- Provide one-to-one support to pupils with Autism and speech and language needs
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour and implementing de-escalation techniques
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience in supporting children with SEN
- Proven track record of using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with adults and children alike
- A positive attitude and sense of humour

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £32,500 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits including enhanced pension scheme, counselling service, health cash plan, free parking, and discounted breakfast and after-school club for your child.
