Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Verification Team in Barrow-In-Furness or Filton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take on a leadership role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our electrical power systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical point of contact for other engineers, providing support with developing and mentoring team members
  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project objectives
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to compatibility test facilities
  • Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations

Requirements

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics
